In the Orlando Magic's 25-year history, the roster has often times been a revolving door. But one position that the Magic have had steady continuity at was the point guard position. Here are the five greatest point guards ever to don the pinstripes.

When Jameer Nelson was lost for nearly the rest of the 2008-09 season, Alston stepped in and guided the team all the way to the franchise's second ever Finals berth. I still believe to this day that the Magic could have won it all if Alston would had stayed in the starting lineup in the Finals.

Armstrong was the face of the famous "heart and hustle" Magic squad in 1999-2000. That team was expected to win just 20 games, but Armstrong willed a group of cast-offs to within a game of the playoffs. That is why he is deservedly on this list.

Magic fans still have the bragging rights of having the player who set an NBA record for most assists in a game. Skiles was the first Magic point guard, and he was an essential piece in the Magic's early years when there was a lot of losing going on.

2. Jameer Nelson

Many fans have mixed emotions when it comes to Nelson, but he is one of the top point guards in Magic history. He was the longest tenured floor man in team history and was a centerpiece of the Magic's second golden era of 2009-2012.

Come on. Who did you expect to be the best point guard in Magic history? He was the centerpiece of the Magic's first golden age from 1993 to 1999, and he holds countless team records. Plus, he was -- and still is -- my favorite Magic player. As a side note, I thought Penny and Tim Hardaway were brothers. No joke, I really did.
