Dallas acquired the fifth pick of the 2004 draft, Wisconsin's Devin Harris, from the Washington Wizards, and he has developed into a serviceable NBA point guard. Throughout his first stint with Dallas, Harris was a valuable reserve, leading the Mavs to the 2006 NBA Finals and a team-record 67 wins the following season.
