Most athletes claim that competitiveness and love for sports is in their blood, and this is especially true with Steph Curry, son of former NBA player Dell Curry, 1994 sixth man of the year and Charlotte Hornets all-time leading scorer. If you take into account this inherent competitiveness with a marksman-like ability to shoot, one can easily predict a successful NBA career. Let's take a look at Curry's top 5 career accomplishments so far.

Any NBA player in his right mind has one dream other than winning the Larry O'Brien Trophy - playing for the USA National Basketball Team. The Dream Team popularized American ball throughout the world, and the Americans are still a force to be reckoned with at international competitions. In 2010 the USA won the gold medal, and Steph Curry was part of that roster. Maintaining his success, he was named to the 2014 team as well.

Many Hall of Famers don't have a title or an MVP trophy under their belt, but they manage to keep such a high level of play that their All-Star appearances secure their place among the greats. Steph Curry took his first step on that direction when he was named to the 2014 All-Star game as part of the Western Conference roster.

If Steph Curry had only his shooting abilities as his main feature, he would still be considered a great player in the making, but the guy has much more than that. What separates him from other great shooters is his handle. His ability to control the basketball and dish clutch passes to make his teammates better is a gigantic plus in his career. In 2011 he was crowned the Skills Challenge Champion, reinforcing that statement.

At the age of 26, Stephen Curry is already a Golden State Warriors legend. It seemed he was on this path anyway, but records sometimes come earlier than expected. Curry is currently the franchise record holder for three-point field goals made (701) and three-point field goal attempts (1,577). One can only expect these numbers to continue to climb for years to come.

Steph Curry is part of the Golden State Warriors' duo called Splash Brothers. They aren't called the Splash Brothers for no reason; they can really make it splash.
Curry's biggest NBA accomplishment so far has been breaking the record for most three-pointers made in a season, when he landed 272 triples during the 2012-13 campaign while shooting 45.3 percent from behind the arc, breaking Ray Allen's previous record.
