Some people believe that Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player of all time, but one thing can't be debated: Jordan is the best shooting guard in the history of the Chicago Bulls. He's easily the best NBA SG of all time in my book as well, but who are some other great SGs in Bulls history? This list should jog your memory.

5. Jimmy Butler

Don't laugh. If you had players like Ron Mercer and Jalen Rose in mind, then you forgot that they played primarily at the SF position when they were Bulls players. Jimmy Butler doesn't have a long list of accolades because he's just three seasons into his NBA career, but with the Bulls essentially replacing Deng with Butler, it speaks volumes about how they view him. Butler is a tough defender with incredible stamina, and he's No. 5 in my book.

4. Jerry Sloan

Known as "The Original Bull", because the Chicago Bulls selected him first in their expansion draft back in 1966, Sloan wasted no time in displaying his versatile playing style. During his career with the Bulls, Sloan averaged 14.7 PPG and a remarkably high 7.7 RPG for a shooting guard. He was also known for his defensive prowess and Sloan was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team four times. Sloan rightfully finishes at No. 4 on this list.

3. Ben Gordon

Before Blake Griffin came along, the phrase "Must-see BG" should have been attributed to the scoring machine known as Ben Gordon. In five seasons with the Chicago Bulls, Gordon was one of the most exciting players to watch in the NBA, because he provided clutch shooting and high-volume scoring off the Bull's bench. Poor defensive play was a huge issue with Gordon and so was taking less money, so eventually, he left to Detroit for higher wages.

When the Chicago Bulls needed points to be scored, Reggie Theus manufactured them. In his six seasons with the Bulls, Theus averaged 20 PPG and six APG. Theus only had two All-Star appearances in his career, but he's in the top 10 in Bulls history for total points, steals, assist, field goals and free throws made. He earned the nickname "Rush Street Reggie" for hanging out at the night clubs near his street, and he earns the spot as my No. 2 SG.

The man needs no introduction or explanation. Michael Jordan is a legend and he's built a billion-dollar empire from winning six NBA championships via double three-peat fashion. Forget shooting guard, he's the best Chicago Bulls player ever and I can't foresee Jordan being surpassed by someone else anytime soon. With his ferocity and addiction to winning, he put NBA basketball in Chicago on the map and he was rewarded with a statue.
