Over his six seasons in Atlanta, Dan Roundfield amassed 7,644 points and 4,658 rebounds. From 1979-82, Roundfield made the NBA All-Star game. Since he was a defensive juggernaut, he made the NBA All-Defensive team from 1980-84 and made the NBA All-NBA team in 1980.

When a rebound was needed, the Hawks knew they could count on Kevin Willis. Within the franchise, Willis is fifth all-time in games played, seventh in offensive rebounds and first in defensive rebounds. With one selection to the All-Star game, Willis is easily a part of Hawks history.

When Josh Smith departed from Atlanta after nine years, it was a sad day for fans. He often generated many highlights, most which consisted of left-handed dunks and rim-protecting blocks. His 15.3 PPG, 8.0 RPG and 3.2 APG with Atlanta made him a valuable asset on a team that didn’t have much.
