5 Biggest Questions Heading Into Indiana Pacers Training Camp

What is done is done. Paul George suffered a gruesome injury this offseason and will not be playing in the 2014-15 season. That doesn't mean the team cannot utilize him and what happened to him in a beneficial way. A leader on the court, George could very well be around the coaching staff and help out in terms of being present and motivating the team. He is only 24 with years of playing time ahead, so he might as well keep the chemistry up.

Without their superstar wings, the point guard is going to be the most important playmaker for the Pacers in 2014-15. George Hill will have to step up his handling, court vision and passing skills this next season in order for the team to maintain their efficient offense, which have been leading them to numerous playoff runs the past few years. Will he make the leap?

As mentioned before, the Pacers' superstar wings Lance Stephenson and Paul George are not going to be playing in Indiana this season, so the offense will have to be rethought and re-planned in order for them to maintain the high quality performance. Will Chris Copeland get more minutes? Will Rodney Stuckey and C.J. Miles be able to replace George and Stephenson with ease? We'll see.

Stephenson and George were not only the cornerstones of the Pacers' offense; they were also the defensive reference when it came to guarding the perimeter. With their absence, one of the most important questions the Pacers have to answer this offseason is how are they going to make up for that on their side court. Defense generates turnovers and transition plays, and without it, the team would be in a lot of trouble.

If there's one franchise in the NBA that needs a leader at the moment, that would be the Indiana Pacers. Without Paul George, Roy Hibbert will have to step up as the franchise player for the season, putting up big numbers for himself on the court and leading his teammates in the locker room. Last year there were reports of chemistry problems, so his first assignment would be to get everyone on track to chase the same goal - winning. Can he do it?
