Greg Monroe has only been in Detroit for four seasons, but his impact has been great. Without much talent around him, he has been able to establish himself as one of the better power forwards in the NBA. He has career averages of 14 PPG and nine RPG and continues to get better every season.

Bailey Howell is the least known Piston on this list, but he certainly belongs. During his 12-year career, Howell was a six-time All-Star (four times with the Pistons) and in 1997 was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. In five seasons with Detroit, he averaged 21.1 PPG and 11.8 RPG.

The “ball don’t lie” with Rasheed Wallace. He was a big-time talent with an even bigger personality. Wallace was the missing piece to the 2004 Pistons Championship winning team and had a great six seasons with the franchise. Two of his four career All-Star appearances came with Detroit. He’s only No. 3 on this list but in his own words, “both teams played hard.”

Dave DeBusschere was the first “great” Piston. He played both forward positions in Detroit for seven seasons, averaging 16.1 PPG, 11.2 RPG and 2.6 APG. DeBusschere made three All-Star teams while with the Pistons and was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 1983. He is seventh on the Pistons all-time list for total rebounds.
