There’s not a whole lot of hope for the immediate future of the Philadelphia 76ers, though the long-term looks much better. Also looking much better is the history of this storied organization. As they look for their next greats in guys like big men Nerlens Noel and Joel Embiid, these five power forwards are the best in the history of the franchise.

Coleman’s second NBA stop (and fourth NBA stop as well) was in Philly. In those six total seasons, he put up 13.9 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game for the Sixers, which is a testament to the team’s history that he barely cracks the top five.

Weatherspoon started his career with five and a half seasons with the Sixers and performed wonderfully. In that time, he put up 15.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.1 blocks per game, which is a nice contribution across the box score.

McGinnis spent just three seasons in Philly, but was as nice as ever while there. He put up 21.6 points, 11.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 2.1 steals per game while there, which is good enough to top this list for most teams, but not the 76ers.

Schayes is one of the all-time greats, spending his whole career with the Sixers organization, though they were the Syracuse Nationals at the time. For his career he put up 18.5 points and 12.1 rebounds per game while posting peaks of much more impressive numbers.

Barkley is famous and polarizing for a number of reasons, but most important is his success in the NBA. Starting his career with Philadelphia from 1984-92, Barkley put up 23.3 points, 11.6 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals and one block per game. He’s an all-timer and rightfully so.
