Malone has mainly been an assistant in the NBA, but has had the chance to be the skipper on a few occasions. He was the first coach for the Raptors and Damon Stoudamire was also Rookie of the Year for Toronto in the team’s first season.

Butch Carter’s claim to fame is being the older brother of the NFL great Cris Carter. Butch led the Raptors to their first winning record in 2000 as well as their first playoff appearance the same season. Vince Carter was also named Rookie of the Year while Carter was at the helm.
