While growing up, Jimmer Fredette molded his game by playing against older, more competitive players. This is a normal right of passage for most players, but he took it one step further. His older brother was part of a team that would play against inmates at the Mount McGregor Correctional Facility in Wilton, New York. Fredette would become part of the team and hone his skills against the prison’s best squad.
