First off, let me congratulate the fans of the Sacramento Kings for keeping their team. Going through the painful process of almost losing your team had to be excruciating, but there are a few other excruciating things about being a Kings fan. Here are five more.

Sacramento Kings fans are some of the most loyal in the NBA, so it must be tough for them to have to sit through a game and watch horrible basketball. Kings fans don’t deserve this.

Sleep Train Arena is one of the oldest arenas in the NBA, and it lacks many of the modern amenities that makes current NBA arenas stand out from the crowd. Even worse, the arena is all the way out in the suburbs with no good public transit. Fortunately, this issue is getting resolved, as the Kings will move into a sparkling new arena in downtown Sacramento in a few years.

There is nothing that irks a true fan more than watching the home domain be invaded by fans of an opposing team. This happens often when the Los Angeles Lakers make their two stops at Sleep Train Arena. The arena turns into a mosaic of Purple and Gold, a true Kings fan's worst nightmare.

The Kings of 2002 were clearly the best team in the NBA, and it is awful the way the NBA royally (pun intended) screwed them out of an NBA title. NBA officials wanted to see the Lakers back in the finals, and thanks to the wonderful world of YouTube, Kings fans are constantly reminded of this sobering fact on a daily basis.

This is probably the most painful for Kings fans. The team had just lost Isaiah Thomas and were in need of a point guard. So, with possibly the best point guard in the draft available, what do the Kings do? They draft a player who plays the same position as their top 10 draft pick from a year ago! (Slow clap). Stauskas could be good, but Payton would had been better. This is why the 2014 NBA Draft was tough for Kings fans to watch.
