In his first year as head coach, Jeff Hornacek helped turn around a struggling Phoenix Suns organization. With a 48-34 record the Suns missed the playoffs by a single game, despite finishing with an impressive turnaround season. Can the young Suns improve upon last year's success?

The Phoenix Suns will be without former forward Channing Frye and Leandro Barbosa after both veterans decided to sign elsewhere during the 2014 offseason. Frye's leadership and ability to hit the outside shot makes him a great addition to the Magic, but the Suns have the Morris twins and both are younger and possibly cheaper than Frye.

The Phoenix Suns made their biggest addition of the offseason with the signing of former Kings guard Isaiah Thomas. Suns fans were already scratching their heads after Phoenix drafted former Syracuse guard Tyler Ennis and scoring forward TJ Warren with their first-round selections in the NBA draft. With the addition of Thomas, Ennis and shooting guard Zoran Dragic, the Suns will have options on the perimeter.

Goran Dragic (PG), Eric Bledsoe (SG), PJ Tucker (SF), Markeiff Morris (PF), Miles Plumlee (C). Although the regular season is right around the corner, the Phoenix Suns' starting five might not be set in stone. Dragic, Bledsoe and Morris are all deserving starters and should get the start on opening night. Will Plumlee be able to produce if given starter minutes? Should the Morris twins start together? We shall see.

Gerald Green is one of the game's most exciting high-flyers, and he should see considerable playing time off the bench for the Suns. Although Green will be important, expect to see Isaiah Thomas get off the bench frequently and receive the bulk of the backup minutes. If Marcus Morris, Alex Len and Archie Goodwin can contribute consistently, the Suns will be a very deep team this season.

With their personnel, it's no surprise that the Suns like to get up and down the court. Although the Western Conference is stacked with talent, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Suns will make the playoffs. Will the Suns keep all of their point guards? If the Morris twins can continue to improve and the trio of Bledsoe, Dragic and Thomas can co-exist, the Suns will once again contend for a playoff position.
Record: 47-35
