The Los Angeles Clippers have a new way of life and a new motto to live by: Be Relentless. Since the start of the NBA season, the Clippers have been featured on a new ad about their future. The spot sums up the basic idea of this being a new day for the Clippers. They have a brand new owner and are not looking to rewrite history or close a chapter; they are looking to write an entirely new book with a happy ending.

The new campaign is a statement for how the team plans on tackling each and every game and hardship thrown at them, and it isn’t just a gimmick.

It’s a much-needed promise to Clippers fans. The offseason left Clippers fans in limbo. Former owner, Donald Sterling, was threatening to sue anyone who disagreed with him. Doc Rivers and Chris Paul were threatening to end their ties to the organization if the team wasn’t sold prior to the start of the 2014-15 season, and the players’ personal dignity was in the spotlight because not all of the players were pledging to not play if the team wasn’t sold.

‘Be Relentless’ means the Clippers will take control of their own destiny. They are the ones out on the court leading the charge and hopefully, Clippers fans stands behind them and follows their leaders. The Clippers have high expectations surrounding them and being relentless needs to be the top priority in order to start writing a new book.
