One of the most legendary franchises in sports history, the Boston Celtics have had a tough few seasons. It may be difficult for fans to look past their recent struggles, but here are five things that all Boston Celtics fans should be thankful for.

Celtics fans can rest assured that they have one of the best young coaches in the league manning their ship. The players like him, and despite their losing record, they play exceptionally hard for Stevens. Their future is bright with him at the helm.

I have very high hopes for Smart, and I think he can evolve into one of the league’s better point guards. He may already be the best and most fierce defender at that position. As soon as the Rondo situation is figured out and Smart starts to get the majority of the minutes, he will truly blossom.

3. Danny Ainge

One of the best executives in the game, Danny Ainge has become a staple in Beantown. He completed one of the shrewdest series of deals in league history, securing Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen to get them yet another championship, and Boston fans can have faith that he can bring them back to the top.
