Early Tuesday morning, reports surfaced regarding the increased availability of Brooklyn Nets All-Star Deron Williams, Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson. Each player has struggled with health while failing to live up to the tremendous expectations of massive salaries. Though it may be difficult to find a deal for Johnson and Lopez, trading Williams should not be too much of an issue considering his improved play this season.

Brooklyn Nets receive: Steve Nash, Jeremy Lin, Jordan Hill, Wayne Ellington
Los Angeles Lakers receive: Deron Williams, Kevin Garnett

This deal would be strictly to cut costs, as every player going to Brooklyn is on an expiring contract or team option in Hill's case. Lin and Hill could potentially create a formidable lineup to finish out this season, while the Nets will save a ton of money moving forward.

4. Houston Rockets

Brooklyn Nets receive: Trevor Ariza, Jason Terry, Kostas Papanikolaou
Houston Rockets receive: Deron Williams

The Rockets reportedly made a strong pursuit of Williams last year, offering major trade pieces Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik. Brooklyn wasn't satisfied with that deal at the time, thus Lin and Asik were shipped elsewhere. Similar to the Lakers, this deal would cut costs substantially moving forward, but won't get the Nets much in return.

3. Detroit Pistons

Brooklyn Nets receive: Greg Monroe, Brandon Jennings, Jonas Jerebko, Joel Anthony
Detroit Pistons receive: Deron Williams

Greg Monroe has officially become the elephant in the room for the Pistons. Stan Van Gundy has slashed his minutes and sent him to the bench, creating one fed-up Moose. All signs are pointing towards a painful divorce as Brooklyn is perfect for him. Along with Jennings, the Nets would acquire two intriguing young talents.

2. Sacramento Kings

Brooklyn Nets receive: Derrick Williams, Jason Thompson, Ben McLemore, 2015 First Round Pick
Sacramento Kings receive: Deron Williams

Billy King has quite some ground to make up after trading away multiple draft picks in the Paul Pierce-Kevin Garnett trade. Exploring a deal with the Kings would be his best chance at adding a semi-decent pick in addition to a blossoming McLemore. This deal would also lighten Brooklyn's monstrous tax bill.

Brooklyn Nets receive: George Hill, Gerald Henderson, Luis Scola
Indiana Pacers receive: Deron Williams, Lance Stephenson
Charlotte Hornets receive: David West, Chris Copeland

Indiana is the only viable destination for the poisonous Stephenson, Charlotte would add desired power forward depth, and Brooklyn would maintain flexibility while acquiring a solid point guard in Hill. Also, Scola's contract is not guaranteed next season.
