Who is the best player for the Phoenix Suns? You could get a few different answers these days. Goran Dragic leads the team in scoring, Markieff Morris leads in rebounds and Gerald Green has to lead the team in insanely amazing dunks, but no one has as big an impact on a game as point guard Eric Bledsoe.

Bledsoe scores 15.5 points per game to Dragic’s 16.1. Bledsoe leads guards in rebounds with almost five per game, and he leads the team in assists and steals per game. In reality, Bledsoe does a little bit of everything for the Suns.

The Suns are doing a great job of sharing the ball, and as a result, the former Kentucky standout isn’t scoring as many points as he is probably capable of producing. However, Bledsoe has provided plenty of energy on both sides of the ball, which has helped his team find some success this year.

No other Suns player does as much across the board as Bledsoe, but that still might not be enough to make the 2015 All-Star game. The Western Conference is full of star point guards including Steph Curry, Chris Paul, Tony Parker, Damian Lillard and Russell Westbrook. For Bledsoe to make the team this year would be a bit of a stretch. Every year, deserving candidates fail to make the team and fans are left scratching their heads.

The next month would need to be very special for Bledsoe to receive enough votes or attention to land a spot on the Western Conference All-Star team.
