The flashiest and most talked about players always get an All-Star bid. Unfortunately for the rest of the league, some of the most deserving players don’t get a chance to go to the All-Star game simply because their fan base is smaller. Their best bet is to be voted in by the coaches and even then they oftentimes get lost in the crowd. These are the 10 players who won’t make 2015 NBA All-Star game but should.

Harden is the league leader in points for the season. He is averaging 27 points, 6.5 assists and 5.9 rebounds per game this season. Harden is sitting in third amongst guards for fan voting in the 2015 All-Star game.

Drummond is Deandre Jordan’s only threat in taking leadership over rebounding in the league. Drummond is averaging just as many points as he is rebounds per game at 13 apiece. Drummond is emerging as a standout on the Detroit Pistons at the ripe age of 21.

8. Dirk Nowitzki

Nowitzki is averaging 18.4 points and 5.9 rebounds this season. He’s hitting game-winning shots and looking healthier this season than he has in recent years. Nowitzki is currently sitting in ninth amongst frontcourt players in All-Star voting.

7. Jamal Crawford

Jamal Crawford is the reigning sixth man of the year because he is a game changer and the best asset for the Los Angeles Clippers. Crawford is averaging 16.1 points and 2.8 assists per game. Without him, the Clippers would be in a much worse condition.

6. Joakim Noah

Joakim Noah has fought injuries so far this season which is why he’s sitting at sixth among fan voting for the All-Star game. Noah is the reigning Defensive Player of The Year and next to Derrick Rose, he is a leader for the Chicago Bulls. Noah is averaging 8.5 points and 9.9 rebounds per game this season.

5. Klay Thompson

Thompson is averaging 21 points, 3.1 assists and 3.5 rebounds this season. The Golden State Warriors have the best record in the league thanks, in large part, to Thompson. He is currently ranked at seventh in fan voting whereas his Splash Brother is one of the leading vote getters.

Lowry is averaging 20.6 points, 7.6 assists and 4.7 rebounds per game this season. Lowry’s averages for the season are higher than his career averages and he’s helped the Toronto Raptors become a true playoff contending threat in the Eastern Conference.

3. Monta Ellis

Ellis has stepped up for the Dallas Mavericks in a big way. Ellis has helped to bring the Mavericks back into playoff contention. Ellis is averaging 20.6 points, 4.4 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. His averages this season have assisted his career averages greatly.

2. Deandre Jordan

Jordan is leading the league in rebounding and field-goal percentage this season, as he did last season. For some reason, he is 12th in All-Star voting. Jordan is averaging 9.4 points and 13.7 rebounds per game this season. He not only deserves to make the All-Star team, he deserves to be a starter. Adding Jordan’s boisterous dunks to the All-Star game would be a treat for all NBA fans.

In Tim Duncan’s 18-year career, he’s been an All-Star 14 times, not including during his last championship season in 2014. He’s averaging 15.5 points and 10.5 rebounds per game this season, which is just under his career numbers. It is safe to say that any five-time champion should always be an All-Star, but especially Duncan.
