The 2015 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest was not as highly hyped this season for some reason, but this exhibition is always the highlight of All-Star weekend. It was no different this year despite an amazing performance by Stephen Curry in the three-point shooting contest. There were a couple high flyers throwing down on Saturday night, but these five dunks amazed above all others.

After this dunk, it looked like Victor Oladipo might challenge Zach LaVine for the title on Saturday night. Oladipo was not able to finish things off in the same fashion, and, as a result, the athletic point guard went home with a bit of hardware. This 540 spin move definitely impressed the crowd and judges, though.

Video of Mason Plumlee's reverse slam after receiving a pass off the backboard by Kyrie Irving is quite impressive, and the center performed a similar flush when he was in the McDonald's All American dunk contest. Plumlee did not make it to the final round, but he represented the Brooklyn Nets quite well.

We all knew LaVine could jump out of the building, but he stunned the judges with his first dunk. I have never seen Dr. J look more speechless. LaVine doing it in a "Space Jam" jersey only made it better.

You might not call this one a dunk since he technically threw it in, but I like the creativity Oladipo used here. He used his teammate to help him make it to the final round. However, LaVine was just too good in the end.

1. Zach LaVine Goes Around the Back

He makes it look so effortless with this dunk going around his own back. When you have other NBA players wincing in virtual pain at the jam you throw down, then something remarkable has been achieved. Thanks for being born, Zach LaVine.
