Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Game 4 (Clippers Lead Series 2-1)

Game Time, TV: Sunday, May 10 – 8:30 p.m. ET on TNT

Projected Starting Lineups:

Houston Rockets: PG: Jason Terry, SG: James Harden, SF: Trevor Ariza, PF: Terrence Jones, C: Dwight Howard

Los Angeles Clippers: PG: Chris Paul, SG: JJ Redick, SF: Matt Barnes, PF: Blake Griffin, C: DeAndre Jordan

The Los Angeles Clippers will look to take a commanding 3-1 lead in their second-round series when they play host to the Houston Rockets on Sunday night.

The Clippers’ offense looked as good as it has all season on Friday night, with role players JJ Redick and Austin Rivers exploding for an unlikely 56 points combined. The Clippers’ “Big Three” of Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan have been extremely reliable all season long, but the key to achieving their championship dreams will be their role players stepping up when it matters most.

The Rockets, on the other hand, look like they are in real trouble. Their isolation-heavy offense that they have run all season long appears to be reaching its end, and unless head coach Kevin McHale can design new plays to get his guys open looks, the Clippers’ defense simply does not have to work this series on the defensive end.

The key matchup for this game will be James Harden vs. Matt Barnes. Barnes did a fantastic job on Kawhi Leonard during the Clippers’ first-round matchup against the San Antonio Spurs, and it will be his responsibility to slow Harden as much as he can again in this game.

In the end, I see the Clippers winning this one. The Rockets’ simplistic offense has miraculously gotten them this far, and with the Clippers executing on both ends of the floor right now, they look very hard to stop – especially at home.

Prediction: Clippers 111, Rockets 100

Clippers' Austin Rivers Brutally Rejected By Rim On Dunk Attempt

There's always something that can be learned from making a mistake. For Los Angeles Clippers guard Austin Rivers, it's important he understands he mustn't ever attempt to dunk a basketball in an NBA game ever again after this massive rim rejection. I'm sure his father, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, will have a talk with him about this unfortunate scenario.

Dwight Howard Requests Dab From Young Fan In Exchange For Jersey

Dwight Howard is oftentimes criticized for being a diva, and I'm sure some of it is warranted. However, during Houston's recent trip to Boston, he did something pretty awesome. Howard gave a young Celtics fan his jersey in exchange for a dab, and it clearly made the kid's day.

LeBron James Loses His Mind After Kyrie Irving Nails Epic Three

The Cleveland Cavaliers made mincemeat out of the Los Angeles Clippers in their own building on Sunday, defeating Doc Rivers' bunch by a score of 114-90. Along the way, Kyrie Irving nailed an incredibly difficult three with a hand in his face and ultimately fell to the hardwood. Teammate LeBron James couldn't believe it and lost his ever-loving mind afterward.

James Harden Refuses To Play Defense -- Again

James Harden has a terrible reputation when it comes to playing defense. There's no denying what he's capable of offensively, but defending just isn't his cup of tea. He proved this to be the case once again in Houston's matchup with the Toronto Raptors on Sunday, and his feeble efforts are simply inexcusable.

5 Players Who Won't Be Back With Clippers Next Season

Breaking News

The Los Angeles Clippers are not on the level of San Antonio or Golden State, but those two teams are in a league of their own. The Clippers' future isn't as bright as some other contenders; in fact, their championship window is small. The man in charge, Doc Rivers, has made it clear that if his team comes up short again he won't hesitate to make a drastic trade. These are five players who won't be back in 2016-17.
