With the NBA season winding down, it's time to start looking ahead to the offseason. The Sacramento Kings have a few pieces in place, but the front office will need to recruit some help if the Kings are going to make a leap in the deep Western Conference. Sacramento has a little over $6.6 million to spend this summer so they must spend wisely. Here are some free agents the Kings should target in the 2015 offseason.

The Kings have a pressing need at the power forward position. Jason Thompson, Carl Landry, and Derrick Williams are all serviceable players, but they aren't starting caliber and will not get the Kings to the postseason. Brandon Bass isn't necessarily a starter either, but he is an upgrade for Sacramento. Bass also provides playoff experience on a team with like aspirations.

4. SG/SF Gerald Green

Gerald Green seemed to be unhappy with his role with the Phoenix Suns. In fact, he may have a point. Green is a gifted athlete who in recent years, has shown that he can score when given the opportunity. The Kings have Ben McLemore, but he still needs more time to develop his game. Whether Green is in the starting lineup or coming off the bench, the Kings could really use that scoring punch.

3. C Brandan Wright

One thing the Kings have been lacking is frontcourt depth. DeMarcus Cousins sorely needs some help in the paint. Brandan Wright is far from a star, but he can provide quite a bit to a team. He is a good rebounder and is a fierce competitor in the post. Wright also practices good shot-selection. He could be a quality backup for Cousins.

2. PF Ed Davis

Davis would probably be the most affordable option on this entire list and the Kings would be getting a bang for their buck. Davis is a guy who plays his role and plays it fairly well. He played limited minutes with the Los Angeles Lakers, but he would likely have a larger role in Sacramento. He is a solid rebounder and is good at protecting the rim, which is something the Kings need.

1. SG Louis Williams

Williams just won the Sixth Man of the Year award, so he may be in a for a pay day, but he would be a great pickup for the Kings. Sacramento needs to add more scorers and Williams can certainly light it up on any given night. He may not provide too much defensively, but at this point, the Kings will have to take what they can get.

DeMarcus Cousins Puts Gordon Hayward On Skates With Crossover

Sure, the Utah Jazz ultimately went on to defeat the Sacramento Kings by a score of 108-99, but that doesn't mean we can't laugh at Gordon Hayward for getting crossed over by DeMarcus Cousins. Wing players simply can't let big men make them look athletically inferior, which is undoubtedly what happened on this play. Hayward didn't have a clue.

DeMarcus Cousins Nearly Pulverizes Steven Adams With Haymaker

Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams ought to be counting his blessings right now, as he essentially dodged a bullet on Monday night. Adams got locked up with Sacramento Kings center DeMarcus Cousins, who nearly lost his cool. Cousins began to swing a devastating haymaker that would have pulverized Adams into oblivion, but thankfully thought twice about it at the last second.

Sacramento Kings' DeMarcus Cousins Chucks Ball At Chris Paul

DeMarcus Cousins didn't do anything wrong on this play, per se, but he undoubtedly made sure to put some extra mustard on the toss. I mean, look at his face! Chris Paul handled it correctly by not turning it into a big thing, but he couldn't have been incredibly pleased.
