Gabrielle Union Drops Hint That Dwyane Wade Will Not Return to Miami Heat

There’s been a lot of talk over the last month or so about Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade opting out of his South Beach contract and taking his talents to the Cleveland Cavaliers to join former teammate LeBron James. Heat fans have remained hopeful that Wade will stay with the only NBA team he’s ever known, but Gabrielle Union’s recent comments paint a different picture.

During an AMA Q&A session on Reddit, Union was asked if her husband was staying with the Heat. Here’s her response:

Now there’s a little room for interpretation in this situation, but the overall takeaway seems pretty obvious. Chances are the rumors surrounding Wade’s departure have some legitimacy, and Union isn’t shy about adding fuel to the fire.

We’ll see what happens when the offseason officially arrives, but Heat fans better be prepared to watch Wade bid farewell to Miami.
