2015 NBA Draft: 5 Perfect First-Round Fits For Chicago Bulls

Next season, the Chicago Bulls should have a healthy Derrick Rose, Mike Dunleavy, Pau Gasol, Joakim Noah and Jimmy Butler. As the likely co-favorites in the East, the Bulls have a unique opportunity to draft future assets rather than players they need right now. Here are five first-round options in the 2015 NBA Draft who are perfect for the Bulls.

5. SG Rashad Vaughn – UNLV

Young, talented and brimming with potential, Vaughn is one of my favorite players in this draft for any team.

4. PF Kevon Looney – UCLA

Looney could have used another year in college, but will still be an excellent NBA player. Like Vaughn, his youth would be a plus because he will not have to play significant minutes early in his career.

3. SF Cedi Osman – Turkey

From what I have seen of Osman, he has the potential to be a good NBA player for a long time. At just 20, he will have all the time he needs to develop.

2. C Frank Kaminsky – Wisconsin

Joakim Noah was dreadful offensively in the playoffs. Kaminsky could be a clear, offensive relief option for Noah next season.

1. SF Justin Anderson – Virginia

Anderson’s ability to drain the three as well as play elite defense will translate well to the NBA. He could be a steal after coming off of a tough injury.

Dewayne Dedmon is not a household name yet, but his posterization of Taj Gibson on Saturday night might be a big step toward changing that.

Watch Bulls Get Whistled For 5-Second Call Because Of Drake

The Toronto Raptors were down by three points with 25 seconds remaining and the Chicago Bulls were taking the ball out of bounds. It happened to be right in front of Drake who is the Raptors' biggest fan. Drake proceeded to talk trash into Justin Holiday's ear while he tried to get the ball in-bounds, and it distracted Holiday enough to get a crucial five-second call against the Bulls. This is my favorite Drake moment of all time.

Bulls' Doug McDermott Proves White Men Can Jump

With Jimmy Butler out, Doug McDermott is getting more run than he normally would for the Chicago Bulls. While the verdict is still out on the former Creighton standout, this epic dunk in which he proved white men can jump against the Atlanta Hawks was the perfect way to showcase his otherworldly athleticism.
