Los Angeles Clippers’ New Logo and Uniforms Must Go

Typically, when sports franchises get a new logo or new uniforms, it is an exciting time, especially for the fans of that organization. Often, the makeover is an upgrade. However, in the case of the Los Angeles Clippers, they were better off leaving them untouched. The Clippers unveiled their new uniforms with the new logo and it left people scratching their heads.

Here’s the finished product.

Why would the Clippers ever do such a thing? These are pretty awful. There is nothing wrong with trying to get a new look, but if you’re going to put all that effort into constructing that look, it shouldn’t look as bad as it does.

The jerseys very closely resemble practice jerseys. In all fairness though, the jerseys that read, “Clippers” aren’t all that bad, but they’re bland and make you want to crawl into bed. The logo appears as if it was made for a created team on NBA Live.

Overall, this was a failure for Los Angeles. The Clippers should be sending those uniforms back to wherever they came from and get back to the drawing board. But hey, who knows? Maybe with the new look, the Clippers could finally win an NBA championship.

I'm sure his father, Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, will have a talk with him about this unfortunate scenario.
