After a disappointing playoff run that featured season-ending injuries, rapid revivals, and ultimate failure in the finals, the Cleveland Cavaliers are looking to bounce back in a major way through re-signing key players and solidifying their bench for next season in the free agency pool. Certain players currently on the Cavaliers roster, however, should not return next season. Here are five Cavaliers who should be shown the door this offseason.

5. Matthew Dellavedova

It seems that Matthew Dellavedova may have hit his peak during the first two games of the 2015 NBA Finals, because the remaining four were a disaster for the young point guard. The Cavaliers need a more consistent backup guard who will average more than just 4.8 points and 3.0 assists on 36 percent shooting from the field per season. His two-year stint so far in Cleveland hasn't been very productive.

4. J.R. Smith

It would seem the J.R. Smith experiment in Cleveland has failed. Smith was supposed to bring a steady stream of offense into the Cavs' starting lineup, but instead shot near career lows from the field and beyond the arc in his 40-plus games. Smith was also extremely lazy on defense on a consistent basis, an effort the Cavaliers absolutely cannot have from their players going forward.

3. Mike Miller

Mike Miller was supposed to be the 3-point specialist the Cavaliers needed in the postseason, but instead, received little to no playing time. Miller only averaged 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds per game this past season, and at the old-NBA age of 35, Miller will only continue to decline in productivity. The Cavaliers need a younger player as a second or third option at the wing, and Miller can no longer fill that role.

2. Brendan Haywood

With both Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson coming back for the Cavaliers next season, the Cavaliers could find a much cheaper option for a third-string center rather than Brendan Haywood. The Cavaliers currently owe Haywood over $10 Million next season, and this is for a player who only averaged 1.6 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.

1. Kendrick Perkins

Kendrick Perkins was supposed to be the backup enforcer behind Timofey Mozgov in the frontcourt rotation, but instead found himself on the bench for the entirety of the NBA Finals. With the league going to a much smaller and faster style of play, Perkins may no longer find a suitable role with any team in the NBA. Perkins is almost 32 years old, and is one of the slowest centers in the league.
