In perhaps the biggest shocker of the first day of free agency — well, so far — Tyson Chandler has decided to take his talents to the Phoenix Suns.
ESPN sources say Tyson Chandler has agreed to a four-year deal with the Phoenix suns worth $52 million

Mr. Chandler is coming off a double-double season in which he averaged 10.3 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. As for the Suns, they are coming off a season in which they finished with a 39-43 record (not exactly playoff material).
So, Chandler technically takes his talents to a worse team, but that could all change in a hurry if Phoenix continues to make splashes in NBA free agency.
Although Chandler will likely be a double-double guy in the upcoming season, and will also beastly protect the rim, Suns fans shouldn’t get too excited about all of the possibilities. You know, like possibly luring LaMarcus Aldridge to the team. If that actually happens, watch out for Phoenix in the 2015-16 season.

All in all, the Suns get better with this move (even though they already have Alex Len), and that is really all that matters.
