The Summer League is a pretty enjoyable time of year. The newly drafted guys combined with a lot of guys trying to crack NBA rotations can make for some pretty entertaining games. The Hawks have a few guys here that fans should keep an eye on.

He makes the list because he is one of the three members of this roster whose rights are actually held by the franchise. Terran Petteway Atlanta Hawks — Petteway makes the list for a couple of reasons. He was a really good player in college at Nebraska, so it will be interesting to see how he adjusts here. The other reason is the Hawks jumped on him rather quickly after the draft to get him on board for the team's summer league roster. I imagine he'll get some looks to see if he is worthy of a roster spot.

He was a member of the Hawks' summer league a year ago, and he impressed a lot of folks. Not enough to gain a roster spot, but enough to at least get an invite back a year later. That's gotta be worth something.

He's just here to get some more work in honestly.
