The Summer League is a pretty enjoyable time of year. The newly drafted guys combined with a lot of guys trying to crack NBA rotations can make for some pretty entertaining games. The Hawks have a few guys here that fans should keep an eye on.

There really isn't a whole lot to be excited about here if I'm being honest. He makes the list because he is one of the three members of this roster whose rights are actually held by the franchise. He'll be given every opportunity to grab one of the 15 available roster spots.

Petteway makes the list for a couple of reasons. He was a really good player in college at Nebraska, so it will be interesting to see how he adjusts here. The other reason is the Hawks jumped on him rather quickly after the draft to get him on board for the team's summer league roster. I imagine he'll get some looks to see if he is worthy of a roster spot.

Hawks fans who actually follow the summer league action will be familiar with Holt. He was a member of the Hawks' summer league a year ago, and he impressed a lot of folks. Not enough to gain a roster spot, but enough to at least get an invite back a year later. That's gotta be worth something.

2. Mike Muscala

The first real obvious selection. Muscala is going to be a member of the Hawks' 9- or 10-man rotation this upcoming season. He's just here to get some more work in honestly. It will be interesting to see if he's able to really assert himself here, and put up good numbers against a lot of guys who won't be on NBA rosters when the season rolls around.

No Hawks list would be complete without Edy. There are high hopes for him down the line. Not many expected him to come over this season, or at all really. He is coming off of a good year in what many consider to be the second best basketball league in the world. It will be interesting to see just how good he is this early on in the process.
