In a message sent on Cyber Dust, his messaging app of choice, Mark Cuban detailed very thoroughly his side of the story of the events leading up to DeAndre Jordan ultimately spurning the Dallas Mavericks and re-signing with the Los Angeles Clippers. Although he remained confident throughout, he and his staff knew “something was up.”

So, essentially, Jordan lied to Cuban by telling him he was on a date. Although one could certainly interpret him being wine, dined and courted by a Clippers group that included at the very least Chris Paul, Doc Rivers, Blake Griffin and Paul Pierce as a date.
