The Los Angeles Clippers have had themselves a busy offseason. Through all of the drama that has ensued, the Clippers' roster is starting to take shape. Considering the talent that the Clippers have on their roster currently, this team has a real chance of competing for the Western Conference. Let's take a look at the starting five for next season.

Point Guard: Chris Paul

Paul is most likely in the latter years of his prime, but he is still an elite point guard in this league. In 2014-15, he averaged 19.1 points, 10.2 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game. Not bad, right? Paul commands the show and makes sure to get everyone involved. With Paul in the lineup, the Clippers will more often than not have the best player on the floor.

Shooting Guard: J.J. Redick

J.J. Redick will likely remain the starter at the shooting guard position. He was a major factor in the Clippers' success a season ago, averaging a career-high 16.4 points a game and shooting 43.7 percent from behind the arc. He was also a prolific free-throw shooter, making more than 90 percent of his attempts. Redick is a hard worker and now teams must respect his game.

Small Forward: Paul Pierce

Pierce may be the key piece the Clippers had been missing. He brings experience, toughness and a championship mentality. Last season in Washington, he averaged 11.9 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game. Pierce won't need to do much scoring next season. His presence alone should help elevate the play of his teammates. His minutes will likely be cut short due to the addition of Wesley Johnson.

Power Forward: Blake Griffin

Griffin is coming off of another All-Star season where he averaged 21.9 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game. His play elevated even further in the playoffs. Griffin's game has come a long way since he first entered the NBA. He's still mainly known for his athleticism and high-flying slams, but he's now expanded his game to include a decent mid-range jumper.

Center: DeAndre Jordan

Despite what people may now think of him, Jordan made the right decision to return to Los Angeles. In his seventh season with the Clippers, Jordan posted the best numbers of his career, averaging 11.5 points, 15.0 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game. He also shot a career-high 71 percent from the field. He's the Clippers' defensive leader and adds some attitude as well.
