The Las Vegas Summer League hasn’t been kind to the Miami Heat -- not like the Orlando Summer League, where the Heat went undefeated throughout all five games. Throughout three games the Heat are 1-2 and have hit a wall in terms development. Still, several players have stood out with their overall performances and are vying for a final roster spot once training camp starts. Here are five of the Miami Heat standouts at the Las Vegas Summer League.

After a strong string of games in the Orlando Summer League, Tyler Kalinoski has come back down to earth a bit, averaging 6.7 points and 2.0 rebounds on 29 percent shooting from the field throughout the three games of the Las Vegas Summer League. Kalinoski is averaging the fifth-most minutes on the team though, which bodes well for his durability. He's also currently the fifth-highest scorer on the team.

4. Josh Richardson

Josh Richardson has continued to impress Heat management with his stellar play through both Summer Leagues, averaging 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Richardson has been productive on both ends of the floor, and is one of the most likely candidates to land one of the final spots heading into training camp. With the Heat’s lack of depth at the guard position, Richardson’s rapid rise couldn’t come at a better time.

Averaging the second-most minutes on the Heat’s Summer League roster, Gabriel Olaseni has been making the most of his opportunities, averaging 11.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 block per game. Based on his height, Olaseni will be an extremely undersized center in the NBA, most likely forcing the Heat to stash him with the team’s D-League affiliate.

2. Greg Whittington

Greg Whittington has been one of the Heat’s most reliable forwards throughout the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 13.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks per game. Whittington also leads the team in minutes per game at 30.3. This type of productivity could land him on the final roster heading into training camp based on his ability to play efficiently on both ends of the floor.

Shabazz Napier has been without a doubt the Heat’s best player throughout the Las Vegas Summer League, averaging 18.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game. Napier has been a crucial leader on the court and has dictated the offense for this Heat team that at times has had no other options on the floor. Napier’s shooting efficiency has also increased, which was one of the young guard's biggest weaknesses last season.
