The San Antonio Spurs didn't win the championship last season, but they clearly showed off their depth during Las Vegas Summer League play while being led by head coach Becky Hammon. She will resume her assistant coaching role under Gregg Popovich when the 2015-2016 season begins; however, don't be surprised if she is heading her own team before too long. Here were the top performers this summer for San Antonio.

Kyle Anderson averaged 18.9 points, 6.6 rebounds and more than a steal per game in Summer League, but his real impact came by slowing the game down for his opponents. It seems as if they call him "Slo-mo" for a reason. He'll get a lot more minutes in his second season with the Spurs, especially with the departure of Marco Belinelli.

Treveon Graham poured in 22 points for the Spurs during their Summer League title game, and although he won't make the squad in San Antonio, he might've played his way onto a roster elsewhere. It will be interesting to see if Graham pops up on a team like the Sacramento Kings next season.

In seven Summer League games, Jarell Eddie averaged 12 PPG in only 26.3 MPG, and he should get a contract somewhere if the Spurs aren't interested in him for their D-League team. He shot a blistering 46.5 percent from 3-point range, but it is his size that makes the former Virginia Tech Hokie truly interesting.

I want to give a cursory shoutout to the title game's MVP, Jonathan Simmons, before more attention is paid to Gregg Popovich and his illustrious coaching tree. He not only gets credit for helping develop current head coaches Steve Kerr and Mike Budenholzer in their former roles as a player and an assistant coach respectively, but Pop also deserves props for pushing the boundaries by mentoring the young woman featured on the next slide.

Is Hammon primed to take a head coaching job in the next two seasons? It certainly seems so after her coaching performance during Las Vegas Summer League. Public figures from Adam Silver to Charles Barkley have already endorsed Hammon as a future head coach, and she could probably get a decent job recommendation from Popovich as well.
