Boston Celtics Add What Could Be A Deep Sleeper In Levi Randolph

A few days ago, the Boston Celtics added ex-Alabama star Levi Randolph to training camp. Randolph is facing an uphill climb as an undrafted rookie, but it shouldn’t shock anyone if he actually makes the team. He has the skills and, most importantly, the defensive mindset to do it. At the very worst, he’ll just become another project for the Celtics’ NBA development team.

Randolph played all four years for the Alabama Crimson Tide, as well as increased his production in almost every category each season. This past year, he averaged 15.4 points per game and led the entire SEC in offensive win shares with 4.4, which proves that he is not just a one-trick pony.

His 6-foot-5 lengthy frame makes him an ideal fit at the shooting guard position, but first he’s going to have to put in some serious work. Randolph has never been shy of working hard on the basketball court, however, as his yearly improvement in Alabama should at least give you a taste of his work ethic.

Don’t you dare sleep on this undrafted rookie. His combination of hard work, mixed with his defensive mindset, is a dangerous combination in the NBA.
