The Chicago Bulls are one of the most recognized franchises in all of basketball. The team has won more championships than every team other than the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. Many players have helped build the Bulls’ legacy, but here are the 10 best Bulls players in franchise history.

Butler is one of the 10 best Bulls players because of his rise to All-Star status as well as his potential. Butler might eventually become the next Scottie Pippen because of his ability to defend multiple positions at a high level and still score nearly 20 points a night.

Kukoc was a prominent member of the Bulls team that won three championships in a row from 1996 to 1998. He won the Sixth Man of the Year award in the first year that Bulls won the championship. Kukoc earned his place as one of the best Bulls players ever due to his versatility and because he was one of the greatest Europeans to ever play in the NBA.

It’s ironic how Sloan played for the Bulls, but it was the one team that he stood in his way when he was coaching the Utah Jazz. Sloan averaged 14.7 points and 7.7 rebounds in his 10 seasons with the Bulls. Sloan also was the Bulls’ first selection in the 1966 expansion draft.

7. Horace Grant

Kerr wasn’t a star like many other Bulls greats were, but he knew his role and he played it well. Before he won a championship with the Golden State Warriors, he was the three-point marksman who won three championships with the Bulls. Kerr is also known as one of the greatest three-point shooters of all time. He shot 47.9 percent from the three-point line while he played with the Bulls (52.4 percent during one season).

Rose is a star level player who just can’t stay healthy. When healthy, Rose has more athleticism than almost everybody in league history, and that athleticism is what makes him a player every team has to look out for.

Rodman might not have been a big-time scorer, but his defense and rebounding are all-time great for a big man. Rodman had off-the-court problems, but he still managed to lead the league in rebounds per game for seven straight seasons (NBA record) while providing the Bulls with the physicality and presence that every championship team needs.

2. Scottie Pippen

Although Jordan’s success hasn’t transferred over to his Charlotte Hornets team, his relentless and perfect NBA Finals record will always be remembered.
