With the added firepower of Ty Lawson now playing with James Harden, the Rockets should be poised to boast one of the best backcourts in the entire league. Not to mention, the backups are Patrick Beverley, Marcus Thornton and Jason Terry. They even have enough in the tank to give the defending champion Golden State Warriors a run for their money. Lawson was a fantastic addition!

James Harden had a great regular season last year, but he followed that up with a subpar playoff showing. If he wants to win a championship with the Rockets, Harden will need to do better than that. It doesn’t rest squarely on his shoulders, but he needs to become the leader the Rockets are yearning for. Every year Harden has shown great improvement, so things look promising.
