The Golden State Warriors won the NBA championship last season because the team was healthier and deeper than any other team in the league. The Warriors have kept the same depth and have tried to add a couple of new players this season. Here is a prediction of the Warriors’ 15-man roster heading into the 2015-16 season.

Point Guard - Stephen Curry, Shaun Livingston

Curry will be the starting point guard because he is the reigning league MVP and one of the best shooters in the league. Livingston is the backup point guard because he can score well by taking advantage of his size advantage on other point guards.

Shooting Guard - Klay Thompson, Leandro Barbosa, Ian Clark, Brandon Rush

Klay Thompson is the starting shooting guard on the team unless the Warriors find a player who can shoot and defend as well he can. Barbosa is the second shooting guard on the team because of his ability to change pace and attack the basket. It has been rumored that Ian Clark will get a roster spot on the team because the team is looking for another shooter and Clark knows how to shoot. Rush will be on the team because of his contract.

Small Forward - Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala, James Michael McAdoo

Barnes will be the starting small forward because he can help the team with his athleticism and ability to score when everyone else is covered tightly on defense. NBA finals MVP Andre Iguodala will continue coming off the bench because he makes the bench better with his passing ability and because he can defend multiple positions.

Power Forward - Draymond Green, Marreese Speights, Jason Thompson, Kevon Looney

Green is still going to remain the starting power forward for the team after re-signing this offseason. His defense and occasional ability to shoot from the outside is something few teams have. Speights will be the backup because he can score, but he is still inconsistent to an extent. Jason Thompson and Kevon Looney will be the two other power forwards on the team because they both can provide energy and rebounding in spurts.

Center - Andrew Bogut, Festus Ezeli

Bogut will be the starting center on the team because he can deter opponents from entering the lane while also being a good passer. Ezeli could be a starter eventually because he can rebound and defend well while also having more athleticism than Bogut.
