New York Knicks — The New York Knicks looked great last night in their opener against the depleted Milwaukee Bucks. They gave fans plenty of reasons to be excited. There was great ball movement, something that was never said about the Knicks last year, and a bad game from Carmelo Anthony which ended in a win. Here are the five biggest reasons why Knicks fans should be excited for this season.

Not only did he start, but he finished with 16 points and five rebounds. Despite poor shooting (3-of-11 FG), he was able to produce in other ways and most importantly bounced back from a difficult start. Porzingis is no star yet, but he continued to show potential.

He was their best player in the preseason and he was great again last night. If the Knicks continue their uptempo attack, there is no reason to think Williams can't keep up his play. He needs to stay on the bench, though. He belongs in the sixth man role.
