With the first week of the NBA season now officially underway, it’s time to take a look at the five teams in the league that are on the verge of establishing a dynasty. If things work out, they could find themselves etched into the history books for years to come.

I know what you're thinking; hasn’t San Antonio already established a dynasty with Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Gregg Popovich? Yes, they have, but now, since coach Pop is leading the Spurs until at least 2019, it looks like he’ll have another dynasty on his hands with LaMarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard at the helm.

The Clippers roster is arguably the most talented right now, but they have a long ways to go if they want to establish a legacy to remember. Led by the ageless Chris Paul, LA has the youngsters to keep this franchise thriving for a long time. Behind Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, anything could happen.

Average Age: 26.7

The Oklahoma City Thunder are one of the most gifted teams in the entire NBA, and now that everyone is finally healthy, we should expect nothing less than a fantastic 2015-16 season. Billy Donovan may be in his first year, but he is the right man for the job. If Durant and Westbrook stay together beyond this year, the sky's the limit.

Even though LeBron James failed to bring a championship to Cleveland last year, don't think he won't get it done. With a healthy Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving, as well as a new scheme that gives Love the opportunity to affect the game in his own way, the Cavs don't need much else to win multiple rings. The determining factor will be the health of the Big-3 as one unit.

After winning the NBA championship last year behind a surprising performance from the league’s MVP Stephen Curry, the Warriors are already well on their way to becoming a dynasty. Their mix of youth and talent is phenomenal, not to mention head coach Steve Kerr is only now in his second year. If any team is built for greatness, it’s this team, especially given how versatile they've proven they can be.
