Dallas Mavericks — The Dallas Mavericks have been a playoff team for every season of Mark Cuban's tenure as owner except for one. The 2015-16 campaign looks like it is going to be the second. The infamous loss of DeAndre Jordan in free agency was crushing to their hopes and now they face a potential tanking situation. When the highlight of your free agency is a 30-year-old coming off of Achilles surgery, you might have problems. Also, Deron Williams is their PG.

Having Carlisle on the sidelines this season may be Dallas' greatest asset.
