The Golden State Warriors led the NBA in three-point shooting last year on their way to a championship and pushed the league into copying their style of offense. The long ball has a new trend for success, vital for any team looking to make a playoff run, so having a player who can make threes at a high rate is a huge asset. These are the 15 best three-point shooters in the league right now.

Jared Dudley averages 39.7 percent from behind the arc for his career and has been one of the league's most underrated players since his time with the Phoenix Suns from 2009-13. The Washington Wizards brought him in this year to play the stretch four role, and he has rewarded them by shooting an outstanding 43.1 percent from three.

Channing Frye's numbers are down this year, only playing 15.7 minutes per game and scoring 5.7 points per game, but he is still making 43.1 percent of his three-point shots. Frye shoots 38.7 percent from three-point range for his career and is still a great asset for Orlando as a stretch big.

13. Eric Gordon

Most notable for being the centerpiece of the Chris Paul trade, Eric Gordon has largely struggled with injuries while in New Orleans. However, when healthy he has proven that he can be the lights-out shooter the Pelicans hoped they were getting. For his career, Gordon is 38 percent from behind the line including a breakout season last year in which he shot 45 percent.

Wesley Matthews looked to be regaining his typical shooting form, following his Achilles surgery, on Sunday against the Wizards when he made 10 three-pointers. His numbers may be down right now, but the 39 percent long distance shooter still commands respect from defenders.

11. Khris Middleton

Khris Middleton was a prime example of how important the three-point shot has become in today's NBA. He earned himself a $ 70 million contract based on his skill from behind the arc and earned a niche for himself with the Milwaukee Bucks. He is a 41 percent for his career from three-point range, including back-to-back seasons of shooting over 40 percent. At just 24, he is only going to get better and move higher up the list.

10. Bradley Beal

Bradley Beal has been one of the league's best three-point shooters for years, shooting 40 percent from that distance for the past two seasons. The 22-year-old is now taking the next step from spot-up shooter to superstar, so as he makes more additions to his game he becomes an even more impossible cover.

9. Klay Thompson

Klay Thompson is often overlooked because of who he plays in the backcourt with, but his consistency is remarkable. Through his five years in the league, Thompson has never shot below 40 percent from behind the line.

It's difficult to believe that in Kevin Durant's rookie year he shot 28.8 percent from behind the three-point line. One of the most impressive parts of Durant's game is how hard he worked to become one of the league's best three-point shooters. He has a current career percentage of 38.

7. Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson went through a bad shooting slump last season after going through a personal tragedy, but despite his team's terrible start, this season he has managed to re-establish himself as one of the game's best shooters.

6. Danny Green

Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs pulled Danny Green from obscurity with the Cleveland Cavaliers and made him a three-point assassin. In his one and only season with the Cavs he shot 27 percent from behind the line, but he has not shot below 35 percent in the six seasons since.

5. Kawhi Leonard

Kawhi Leonard is leading the league in three-point percentage right now by incredibly making 50 percent of his attempts. Last season Leonard made just 34.9 percent of his three-point attempts, so either he has made the next step to elite three-point shooter or the league's newest superstar will cool off. Given his incredible talent, it's hard to think it's not the former.

4. J.J. Redick

Other than his notoriously ice cold 28-game tenure with the Milwaukee Bucks, Redick has been one of the league's all-time most accurate shooters. Despite his slow development to the NBA defensively, Redick kept his reputation from college as a sharpshooter, never shooting below 36 percent for his career from beyond the arc and 40.1 percent from that distance for his career.

3. Anthony Morrow

Anthony Morrow is one of the most underrated sharpshooters in NBA history. During his eight seasons in the league, he has never shot below 37 percent from beyond the arc and holds a career average of 42.8 percent.

2. Kyle Korver

Kyle Korver set the record with at least one three-point make in 127 straight games and is sixth all-time in three-point percentage (43.2) and 10th all-time in three-point field goals made (1768). Korver is not just one of the best three-point shooters right now; he is one of the best of all time, and if it wasn't for what is happening right now with the Golden State Warriors, he'd be first on this list.

Steph Curry is making 47 percent of his three-point shots right now and is making an average of 5.3 of his 11.2 attempts. Curry is on pace to once again break his own record for three-point field goals in a season (286) as he has already connected on 116 of his attempts from downtown. Curry is playing on a different level from everybody else in the league right now and his shooting is the greatest example.
