5. Nick Young

The troubles with Nick Young's game are well-documented, but this year he's taken them to new depths. Swaggy P has terrible shot selection, he doesn't pass and he doesn't play defense. The Lakers have Young under contract for 2016-17, with a player option for 2017-18, and will surely look to trade him.

Bass has a player option for next season of $3 million, and what reason in the world would he have not to exercise it?

3. Metta World Peace

Metta decided to return to the NBA this season after sitting out 2014-15. Close with Kobe Bryant and head coach Byron Scott, he was welcomed with open arms. Unfortunately, World Peace has been another detriment to the Lakers' season instead of the spark they hoped he'd provide. Metta has only appeared in 20 games, shooting a putrid 29.8 percent from the field and averaging 4.8 points and 2.6 rebounds.

2. Roy Hibbert

The Lakers took a small risk on Roy Hibbert. At best, he would rejuvenate his career and become a solid starter for years to come, and at worst he'd be a terrible one year rental. Unfortunately, the worst happened. Hibbert is anemic on offense and no longer an elite rim protector. He's not an NBA starter anymore.
