The Oklahoma City Thunder are a good team, but they haven’t been able to live up to expectations. They have lost many games against the elite teams and this offseason will bring much change to the team. Here are five players who won’t be on the Thunder in the 2016-17 NBA season.
The Oklahoma City Thunder are looking good to end the year, and Russell Westbrook is a large part of this. He has clearly surpassed Chris Paul at PG.
Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant are dangerous on their own on a fast-break, and the latter climbed the ladder to collect and finish this alley-oop.

The Oklahoma City Thunder elected to sit Kevin Durant against the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night, and it ultimately backfired as the Pistons pulled off a huge victory. Pistons point guard and former teammate of Durant's in Oklahoma City Reggie Jackson was rather animated after the win. Jackson's antics didn't sit well with Durant, who called his behavior "bush league."
The Detroit Pistons have quietly worked their way into the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference, and they have been playing some excellent basketball of late. Much of Detroit's success can be attributed to Andre Drummond, who is having a fantastic campaign. On Tuesday night, Drummond let Oklahoma City's Russell Westbrook know not to drive the lane without thinking twice by emphatically rejecting his layup attempt in this video.
Kevin Durant unveiled a new prototype of sneakers designed by Nike on Thursday night and you have to see them to believe them.
James Harden clearly isn't worried about what people think of his defensive inefficiencies. He proved this to be the case on Tuesday night, as he inexplicably gave Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook a clear lane to the basket after he turned the ball over during this sequence. Harden's a spectacular scorer, but he will likely never give enough effort on both ends to be a Hall of Famer.
Stephen Curry is undoubtedly the most talked about point guard in the world, but Russell Westbrook might be the best all-around player at the position. This dunk is just one of a number of unbelievable plays he made against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
Kendrick Perkins' vicious clothesline of Damian Lillard belonged in a wrestling ring, so he got a well-deserved ejection.
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant will get courted by many teams this summer, but he won't be leaving his squad in the dust just yet.
The Kevin Durant rumor mill has now added the Boston Celtics, but there's no way the top free agent this summer goes to Boston.
