Stephen Curry Plans On Ignoring LeBron James' Ridiculous Criticisms Of MVP Award

Golden State Warriors superstar Stephen Curry was named the first-ever unanimous NBA MVP award winner on Tuesday following a season that saw him average 30.1 points per game, knock down an NBA record 402 threes and lead his team to an NBA record 73 wins.

Despite all of Curry’s accomplishments this season, Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James had this to say about Curry winning the MVP.

“I think sometimes the word ‘valuable’ or best player of the year, you can have different results … that’s not taking anything from anyone that’s ever won the award,” James, who has won the award four times, said. “When you talk about most ‘valuable’ then you can have a different conversation, so, take nothing away from him, he’s definitely deserving of that award, for sure.”

It certainly sounds like a bit of jealousy on LeBron’s part and Curry was asked about the comments and he gave a pretty great answer.

“I’ve gotten really good at ignoring people,” Curry said. “That is the theme of the last two years. So I’m alright.”

These two guys have to meet in the NBA Finals. It’s obvious that these two guys have a competitive rivalry against each other and every game between the Warriors and Cavaliers is must-see TV.
