New York Knicks' Ideal Starting 5 For 2016-17 Season

The New York Knicks have a lot of work left to do before they can even think about putting their ideal starting five on the court. Despite signs of improvement, the Knicks failed miserably down the stretch. They could potentially have as much as $30 million in cap room to build a new roster for next season. This is the starting lineup the team would love to have in 2016-17.

Conley will be 29 at the start of next season and, despite coming off an injury-plagued season, he is still one of the best point guards in the league. Signing him would solve the Knicks' long-standing point guard issue.
