LeBron James Says Calling The Cleveland Cavaliers Underdogs Is Pure 'Stupidity'

The Golden State Warriors are the favorites to defeat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals for the second year in a row and win the NBA Championship. They are fresh off of an NBA-record 73 regular-season wins, an impressive comeback against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals and have home-court advantage. Despite those facts, LeBron James doesn’t want to hear the Cavaliers are underdogs.

Whether LeBron wants to believe it or not, the Cavaliers are the underdogs in this series, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t, or won’t, win it all. Everyone expects the Warriors to complete the greatest single season in NBA history with a championship which means the pressure is all on them. The Cavaliers should be able to come out and play loose which could give them an advantage in a way.

This is LeBron’s chance to deliver the long-awaited championship to the city of Cleveland and prove that he’s the best player in the world once again. If he accomplishes those goals, he will never be looked at as an underdog again.
