The Golden State Warriors put a whooping on the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the NBA Finals in more ways than one. In the first half, Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love was on the receiving end of an accidental elbow by Warriors small forward Harrison Barnes, which ultimately rendered Love in concussion protocol.
The Cavaliers released the following statement:
“Love experienced dizziness after returning to play at the start of the second half…Kevin did not exhibit any signs or symptoms during the first half, or at halftime, that would have caused him to be placed in the concussion protocol prior to now.”

The series will shift to Cleveland for Game 3, in what is essentially a must-win contest for the Cavaliers down 0-2.
