This will be a big summer for the New York Knicks, as they must decide what players to place around their aging star Carmelo Anthony, and their young talent Kristaps Porzingis. Strengthening their backcourt needs to be a priority, and it certainly wouldn’t hurt to go after Kevin Durant. The team has the money to spend and the location to attract talent, and must take advantage of this opportunity.

Evan Fournier — Fournier is very good off of the ball and would help spread the floor with his shooting. He would be a very good fit on the offensive side.

Courtney Lee — Lee is a capable two-way player who brings toughness and shooting. He has been far in the playoffs before, and knows what it takes to win games.

Kent Bazemore — Bazemore’s personality would be a good fit in New York, and he brings plenty of ability to the table. He works hard, plays good defense and has the ability to shoot. His athleticism would be welcomed to a team needing more speed on the perimeter.

Bradley Beal — Beal would be expensive, and durability is certainly a concern. However, his ability on offense would help take the pressure off of Anthony and Porzingis, and he has the potential to be a star.

Mike Conley — Conley should be one of the organization’s top targets, as he is a very good point guard who could lead this team. He can get into the paint, or hang out on the perimeter to space the floor, and is a very good defender.
