In the first really big move of the NBA offseason, the New York Knicks acquired point guard Derrick Rose from the Chicago Bulls in a multi-player trade this week.
As expected, the local papers got some headline fodder playing on the former league MVP’s surname.

The lack of creativity and differentiation is clear, but sometimes the obvious headline is the best one. “Rose Garden” fell into the laps of the New York tabloids, so I don’t blame them all for going with it.
