After a prolonged, apparently contentious negotiation last summer, Dwyane Wade eventually agreed to a one-year deal with the Miami Heat. After a resurgent 2015-16 season, where he averaged 19.0 points, 4.6 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game over 74 regular season games, Wade is set to be a free agent again and is reportedly open to offers from teams other than Miami.
If Wade is serious about leaving the only NBA franchise he has played for, here are five other teams that could sign him.
5. Chicago Bulls

At first glance, the Bulls are far more likely to be in the market for frontcourt help in free agency. But Wade is a Chicago native, so finishing his career there could appeal to him.
4. Cleveland Cavaliers

After LeBron James took his talents to South Beach six years ago, Wade could return the favor and re-join his buddy in Cleveland. I don't see the Cavaliers as a top destination for Wade though, unless he's willing to take a reduction in salary.

If the Clippers lose both Jamal Crawford and Austin Rivers once free agency kicks off, backcourt depth is a concern. Wade would then become a viable option, assuming he seriously looks to leave Miami.

The Celtics could use some more scoring punch, and they could offer Wade a role that keeps him healthy while filling that void.

The Knicks are not going to sign Kevin Durant, plain and simple. But they are in line to be players in the free agent market, and Wade could be lured by one last big, multi-year contract.
