The Washington Wizards recently signed Bradley Beal to a lengthy contract extension, and they are now trying to fill out the rest of their team in free agency. They shouldn’t stop improving once their roster is stocked, though. They must always be on the lookout for how their team can get better, and trading players is a phenomenal way to do that. Here are some guys that they must keep their eye on next season.
5. Ryan Anderson

The Houston Rockets snagged Ryan Anderson, but the Wizards might go after him next year. If the Rockets miss the playoffs, then Washington could be a great landing spot for the power forward. His shooting would definitely aid John Wall's spacing.

Marvin Williams would be the ideal small forward on the Wizards. He re-signed with Charlotte over the summer, but they might try to ship him out for the right offer. Washington needs a wing next to Beal who can play intense defense.

Jabari Parker is set for a breakout season after the Milwaukee Bucks missed the playoffs; however, he would probably welcome a change of scenery. Parker grew up in Chicago, but he would enjoy playing for the fans in Washington.

If the Chicago Bulls want to go into full rebuilding mode, then trading Jimmy Butler is the fastest way to make that happen. Butler would bring a toughness to the Wizards that they've been missing for a long time.

This guy should be their top target. DeMarcus Cousins was a fantastic fit next to Wall during college, and the two would thrive with each other at the pro level too. Cousins is the best example of a player getting drafted by the wrong team.
