Lakers Coach Luke Walton Upset With Bucks' Security For Intervening in Near Brawl

A hard foul by Malcolm Brogdon on Nick Young led to a shoving match between the Los Angeles Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night.

Stars were involved as well, as Greg Monroe shoved Young and got D’Angelo Russell and Brandon Ingram up in arms – as well as a Bucks security guard.

And Lakers coach Luke Walton was none too pleased with the non-player invention in the skirmish, pointing out the trouble with the officials’ handling of the incident.

”If there’s nothing wrong with that, then I have no problem finding some people to hire on our staff (for the) next time we get in a skirmish,” Walton said. “The refs don’t say anything about that, and he puts his hands on one of our players. He works for them. He can touch (Milwaukee’s) players all he wants. Don’t touch my damn players. Because if that’s OK, I’m sure we can find a couple of people here in LA that want that job working for the Lakers, too.”

It’ll be up to the NBA to prevent a similar occurrence in future disagreements.
