The NBA MVP race features a handful of deserving candidates this season, but it’s arguable that no team would be worse off without their superstar than the Houston Rockets would be minus James Harden.
And the bearded wonder showed that once again on Monday night with this coast-to-coast, game-winning lay-in against the Denver Nuggets.
Harden is known for his ability to fill up the cup, not so much for his speed.
But after this coast-to-coast sprint, perhaps that perception will change.
Harden, asked if he reached John Wall speeds on coast-to-coast game-winner: “I feel like I was faster than that. I felt like Usain Bolt.”

The Usain Bolt comparison may be pushing it, but we all have goals, right?
